Our hard rules

The commitments below are non-negotiable. Every agent, every campaign, every time.

Candidate Copilot works in a regulated, high-stakes space. These rules are built into the product, not bolted on. Anything that touches one of them stops and waits for a person.

No synthetic media. Ever. We never create deepfaked or fabricated audio, video, or images of any real person, and we never impersonate a candidate or an opponent.

A human signs off on anything voters see. The AI works in the back office. A person reviews and approves anything public-facing or persuasive before it goes anywhere.

No autonomous sends. The platform has no send path. Every draft routes to a human; your committee stays the filer and speaker of record.

AI is disclosed. We follow applicable state AI-disclosure laws, and when the rules are unclear, we disclose anyway.

Grounded, and it escalates when unsure. Answers come from your own documents and the public record, not free-form invention about law, benefits, or eligibility. Anything legal, medical, safety-related, or a person in crisis is refused and handed to a human.

Source every claim. No unsourced assertions about council actions, opponents, law, or numbers, in any work product.

Real, consenting people only. Letters, testimonials, and endorsements use real people who agreed to it. We never fabricate grassroots support.

Voter-data hygiene. Election-purpose use only, kept inside your campaign, never repurposed commercially, never used to train shared models, and returned or deleted when we're done.

Government and campaign never mix. Official money and channels stay separate from campaign money and channels, with clean public-records hygiene.

Nonpartisan, one race per side. We work for anyone on the ballot, and we never serve opposing candidates in the same race.
