Terms of Service

These terms are a plain-language draft consistent with our published commitments. They are not legal advice, and they do not replace a signed agreement where one applies.

The service

Candidate Copilot is a nonpartisan AI back office for down-ballot campaigns. It assembles briefings, tracks deadlines, drafts materials, and helps with compliance work. It does not send anything to voters and does not give legal advice.

Who can use it, and how it stays nonpartisan

Candidate Copilot is available to candidates and officials across the political spectrum. We do not serve opposing candidates in the same race, and we do not serve a campaign and an opposing PAC in the same race.

Billing

Published rates. Every campaign pays the same published rates, with no bespoke discounts and no negotiated deals. A rate change never applies retroactively.
Committee only. Paid plans are billed to and paid by the registered candidate committee only, through Stripe by ACH bank transfer or card from the committee's account; never the candidate personally, never a third party.
Month-to-month. Paid plans run month-to-month with no seasonal lock-in. You can cancel anytime.

Your content and approvals

You keep ownership of the materials you provide. Drafts the platform produces are yours to review, and anything voters see waits for your sign-off before it goes anywhere. Your committee remains the filer and speaker of record.

Data

We handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy and Security & data page. We do not custody voter files, and we keep each campaign's data isolated.
